SurvivorGracie: hey there
AML6349: Heeey, how are you?
SurvivorGracie: pretty good
SurvivorGracie: I think we've pretty much got the boys stomped
AML6349: Sweet - I tried to keep it going (when I could), but I had to go up to the ER this morning and for some reason, it stopped on my computer while I was gone.
SurvivorGracie: aw .. how come the ER? is everyone okay?
AML6349: Well, Shanley was standing on the toliet, trying to reach out to the sink - and she slipped, fell and wacked her head on the counter on the way down. She had a big ole' goose-egg and cut her head open. We took her up, just in case they needed stitches, but it was such a clean & straight cut that they just used an adhesive glue.
SurvivorGracie: wow .. poor Shanley!
SurvivorGracie: I would have been freaking out big time
AML6349: What was weird was that she cried intitially, then just wanted to play. I was just Uh, you have a big ole cut on your head, why aren't you upset? lol
SurvivorGracie: lol .. kids .. never can figure them out!
SurvivorGracie: and when they're hardly hurt .. they cry like anything
AML6349: Yeah - go figure, eh?
SurvivorGracie: *grin* something like me
AML6349: She's in a great mood tonight, go figure.
AML6349: Err, today.
SurvivorGracie: that's a good thing!
SurvivorGracie: her Mommy likes that more better
AML6349: Oh yeah. We were supposed to go to a Mom group today but it just didn't work out - I only ended up with 4 hours of sleep by the time we got back and settled down.
SurvivorGracie: aw .. I hope you get to take a nap today
SurvivorGracie: for some reason the auto reloader at home wouldn't run with my screen saver on
SurvivorGracie: so I turned it off for the day
SurvivorGracie: lol .. I hope its working at home
SurvivorGracie: but I have it running on my computer here at work today
AML6349: I had 3 screens open right now - they occasionally stop for some reason, I don't know why.
SurvivorGracie: *nods* .. I just press the show URL button and it starts up again
AML6349: Yep, me too.
AML6349: I just check in on it every once in a while, up to 26360 on our gains (at that very second)
SurvivorGracie: yay!
SurvivorGracie: the guys only have like 8000 and some I think
SurvivorGracie: but their losses are over 14,000
SurvivorGracie: I have it running on our gains and their losses
AML6349: I switch back and forth, if I do both my computer freaks out. I had it running on their losses on Don's computer for most of the night, but it won't do it now... maybe it just needs a reboot.
AML6349: Do we have more gains than losses?
SurvivorGracie: we have WAY more gains than losses
SurvivorGracie: right now we have 4905 in losses
AML6349: Niiiice! We *so* got this in the bag as long as we keep doing what we're doing... I wonder if they gave up.
SurvivorGracie: and our gains are at 26613
SurvivorGracie: no idea
AML6349: At one time, they were in the lead - weren't they?
SurvivorGracie: I think most of the guys are scared about having to go back to tc though
SurvivorGracie: yeah .. at the beginning they were .. they had all 6 guys working on it
AML6349: Ya know what I just realized!
SurvivorGracie: what?
AML6349: Today's Groundhog's Day!
SurvivorGracie: OMG .. you're right!
SurvivorGracie: I hadn't even thought of that
AML6349: I wonder if he seen his shadow or not.
SurvivorGracie: lol .. I don't care what he sees .. as long as winter goes away soon
AML6349: I always thought it was mixed up - to me, if I seen my shadow, it would mean that the sun is out so spring is closer... not more winter.
SurvivorGracie: yeah .. I agree!
SurvivorGracie: I think that's why I can never remember which is which for what he sees
AML6349: According to this website - he seen a shadow at 7:31 AM... he hasn't *not* seen his shadow since 1999.
SurvivorGracie: meh .. time for a new groundhog then
AML6349: lol, yes.
SurvivorGracie: here's the other thing that confuses me
SurvivorGracie: if he sees his shadow .. that means 6 more weeks of winter
SurvivorGracie: but if he doesn't
SurvivorGracie: then spring is in 6 weeks
SurvivorGracie: lol .. its the SAME thing
AML6349: Hey, I never thought of that - conspiracy!!
SurvivorGracie: lol .. you know a man had to have thought of THAT
AML6349: Ain't that the truth!
SurvivorGracie: lol .. probably because he couldn't figure out the difference
AML6349: I keep meaning to ask you - what's your middle name?
SurvivorGracie: Ann
AML6349: Grace Ann? Cute.
SurvivorGracie: lol .. yeah
SurvivorGracie: I don't think it really fits too well ... but eh
SurvivorGracie: lol .. the parents didn't ask for my input at the time
AML6349: Were you named after anyone?
SurvivorGracie: nope .. not that I know of anyway
SurvivorGracie: were you?
AML6349: Sort of - my great-grandmother Annetta.
SurvivorGracie: that's a pretty name!
SurvivorGracie: what's your middle name?
AML6349: Marie - like most of the women in my family.
SurvivorGracie: ah ... that's very pretty
SurvivorGracie: it suits you
SurvivorGracie: Annette Marie
SurvivorGracie: yeah .. I like that
SurvivorGracie: how did you come up with Shanley's name? It's unusual
AML6349: Well, I got Shanley from a Baby Names From Around The World book. It was in the Irish section and I liked the meaning of "Hero's Daughter". It was one of the few that Don liked also... I kept comparing it against other names and it always won.
AML6349: Elisabeth is after my favorite Survivor - Elisabeth (Filarski) Hasselbeck.
SurvivorGracie: that is definitely a great meaning for a name!
SurvivorGracie: and Elisabeth too ... I like the spelling of that with an "s" instead of a "z"
AML6349: Between her and a best friend I had in grade school who spelled it the same way, it just sorta stuck with me.
SurvivorGracie:
SurvivorGracie: and when she starts school .. you can be pretty much assured there won't be five or six other "shanley's" with her
AML6349: I'm already picking out names for future kids. Yes, that's one reason I decided not to go with Abigail - which was high on my list too.
SurvivorGracie: lol
SurvivorGracie: I know like 3 Abigails
AML6349: Same.
AML6349: I didn't when I was pregnant but I do now.
