SurvivorGracie: hey there
AML6349: Hey!
SurvivorGracie: how are ya doing?
AML6349: Good, you?
SurvivorGracie: pretty good
SurvivorGracie: busy doing laundry
AML6349: Ugh, fun fun. I'm so backed up on laundry, it's crazy - it's hard when you don't have your own washer & dryer.
SurvivorGracie: we're lucky to have our own washer and dryer
AML6349: Lucky you!
SurvivorGracie: lol .. its fun to share them
SurvivorGracie: my roommate and I are ALWAYS doing laudnry
AML6349: Ours cost $1.25 per wash & dry... so $2.50 for 1 load.
SurvivorGracie: eeek
AML6349: That's what I'm looking forward to the most about getting our own home - our own washer & dryer that I don't need quarters to run - and a dishwasher besides me.
SurvivorGracie: definitely!
SurvivorGracie: I love having them right here
SurvivorGracie: lol .. and I get even lazier
SurvivorGracie: now I want a laundry shoot from upstairs to the basement
SurvivorGracie: I finally did the challenge ...
SurvivorGracie: have you done yours?
AML6349: Yes
SurvivorGracie: yay!
SurvivorGracie: mine is dorky
SurvivorGracie: wonder what happens if two people suggest the same name
AML6349: What is your name?
AML6349: Probably first come first serve.
SurvivorGracie: ah .. that makes sense
SurvivorGracie: I suggested Venus
SurvivorGracie: with colors red and white for red for love and white for purity
AML6349: I like it!
SurvivorGracie: I put in it that the Patron Singer is Paul Anka
AML6349: haha, cute.
AML6349: I suggested Lupercalia, with the colors of Pink, Red & Black
SurvivorGracie: ooh .. I like that
AML6349: Roman Feast of Lupercalia - This ancient pagan fertility celebration, which honored Juno, queen of the Roman gods and goddesses and goddess of women and marriage, was held on February 14, the day before the feast began. During festival time, women would write love letters, also known as billets, and leave them in a large urn. The men of Rome would then draw a note from the urn and ardently pursue the woman who wrote the message they had chosen. (Apparently, the custom of lottery drawings to select valentines continued into the 18th century, coming to an end when people decided they'd rather choose -- sight seen! -- their valentines.
SurvivorGracie: LOL
AML6349: I saw the whole urn/Survivor connection.
SurvivorGracie: definitely .. I like that
SurvivorGracie: this will be a good competition
AML6349: Do you think all of the ladies should pick one of the ladies' names and all vote for it?
SurvivorGracie: yes!
SurvivorGracie: I just don't want Ryan to win
AML6349: I was thinking, just to keep us safe, we should pick the person who had the most past votes.
SurvivorGracie: good idea
SurvivorGracie: Jenne?
SurvivorGracie: I can't remember who has past votes
AML6349: If the guys, or girls, get the majority - we have no control over that... but if it comes down to a tie, past votes might come into play.
AML6349: Yes, I think so - she got at least 2, right? Maybe more.
SurvivorGracie: yeah .. Kelley and Lisa voted her at the first tc
SurvivorGracie: Kelley has votes too
SurvivorGracie: she has maybe 3 votes
SurvivorGracie: Steph voted Kelley when she was voted out
SurvivorGracie: Ashlee voted Kelley
SurvivorGracie: eek .. I think both Kelley and Jenne have 2 votes each
AML6349: I guess we could ask them.
SurvivorGracie: yeah
SurvivorGracie: personally . .I just want Ryan to lose
SurvivorGracie: so we can send him home
AML6349: Me too.
SurvivorGracie: I no likey him
SurvivorGracie: from what it sounds like he's trying to work some girls
AML6349: He tried me - let me see if I can find what he said.
AML6349: ryansurvivor1984: i know that it doesn't help you much because you girls have the numbers but I think my team is going to ostracize me so if there is anything i can do to help don't be afraid to ask
AML6349: WHATEVER!
SurvivorGracie: Double that!
AML6349: That even required caps.
SurvivorGracie: whatever dude
SurvivorGracie: is that like the first time he's talked with you?
AML6349: Oh, SURE, jump on board! You had no intentions of me even staying around, you had a big ole boner over tribe T&B sticking around until the end... but SUUUURE, I'll work with you. *roll eyes* No thanks, I'll be faithful to those who have been faithful to me.
SurvivorGracie: heck yeah ....
SurvivorGracie: lol .. and why would someone hook up when he even says that his tribe wants him out
AML6349: His tribe wants him out for a reason - we don't want him, he's damaged goods.
SurvivorGracie: exactly!
SurvivorGracie: the sooner he goes home .. the better off we'll all be
AML6349: YepYep.
SurvivorGracie:
AML6349: I wonder if he'll be jury or not... if there's a regular 7 person jury, then no. But who knows - they might have a 9 person jury.
SurvivorGracie: yeah ... honestly .. I'm hoping for a 7-person ..
SurvivorGracie: if I'm on jury .. I don't want to be there with him
AML6349: Me either.
AML6349: I took Shanley to the mall today, to the play area - and she went nuts.
SurvivorGracie: aw ... that's so much fun
SurvivorGracie: are there lots of kids there for her to play with?
AML6349: Tons - there was at least 20 - 30 kids at the time.
SurvivorGracie: what's cool too .. is that at that age they just play together
AML6349: What's funny is that not even 2 months ago, I couldn't put her down without her clinging to me and crying. Now she's a wild woman, running away before I can even get her shoes off.
SurvivorGracie: lol .. that's so neat
SurvivorGracie: brb .. laundry
AML6349: kk
SurvivorGracie: back
AML6349: Wb!
SurvivorGracie: why can't laundry do itself?
AML6349: I wish!
AML6349: I'd pay $5 a load if it would wash, dry and put itself awya.
AML6349: away*
SurvivorGracie: lol .. me too!
AML6349: Any plans for tonight?
SurvivorGracie: nah .. just more laundry
SurvivorGracie: I'm going on vacation in another month .. so I want to wash the stuff I want to take
AML6349: Cool! Where to?
SurvivorGracie: Florida
SurvivorGracie: someplace WARM
AML6349: Sweet - I'm jealous! Going to visit friends or family, or just relax? Going to see The Mouse? Sorry I'm so nosey.
SurvivorGracie: the MOUSE
SurvivorGracie: I love the MOUSE
AML6349: That's sooo cool - I haven't been there since 1993. I can't wait to take Shanley one day.
AML6349: Once she's old enough to *really* enjoy it - like 4+, we'll go.
SurvivorGracie: you have to go!
SurvivorGracie: it's so much fun
AML6349: Afk a sec, trying to make Shanley something small to eat.
SurvivorGracie is away at 5:50:55 PM.
