Love Struck Muse: I keep refreshing the board! At least 2/5 people aren't here
LucasHorowitz: Jenne's got school and taylor is gone til Sunday
LucasHorowitz: if there's a time fram its even better for you cause I can just go at a snail's pace
Love Struck Muse: Ooh, this could be good... I'm a writer
LucasHorowitz: I like that she goes "heterosexual" judges LOL
Love Struck Muse: LOL, I saw that too... so I guess that's saying don't make up a romance between lesbians.. or maybe that would get the male judge's vote
LucasHorowitz: assuming they're male
LucasHorowitz: one of each
LucasHorowitz: just make them bisexual and offend everyone ;-)
Love Struck Muse: LOL... a love triangle between two men and a woman. Only not in the traditional sense.
LucasHorowitz: Sunday Bloody Sunday
LucasHorowitz: soory, I'm old.
LucasHorowitz: just pretend you know that movie
Love Struck Muse: I've heard of that actually... and I have no idea why. Was it ever nominated for an Oscar? I was going through all the Oscar stuff at imdb a few days ago.
LucasHorowitz: several, in fact! are you watching Sunday???
Love Struck Muse: Definitely watching. It's not as exciting though because there are a few movies nominated I haven't even seen.
Love Struck Muse: You?
LucasHorowitz: I always watch and I have seen most of everything. pulling for The Aviator but I think Million Dollar Baby has it sewn up
Love Struck Muse: I am with you on that one but then again I haven't seen MDB. :-(
LucasHorowitz: its very good. it's my second choice. (albeit a distant second)
Love Struck Muse: Do you think Hilary will win another Oscar?
LucasHorowitz: I think so. I don't think enoiugh people have seen the other movies. (except Eternal Sunshine and I don't think Kate has a shot in heck)
Love Struck Muse: I always would go in to watching the Oscars with an idea of who was going to win... usually that person won a Golden Globe too. The one that sticks out the most is when everyone thought Kate Hudson was goign to win and Marcia Gay Harden won instead. I love when things like that happen.
LucasHorowitz: I think the supporting races are going to be interesting. I haven't made a final prediction there yet
Love Struck Muse: I have no idea with the best supporting actor category. I think Natalie Portman has a good chance. It seems like Laura Linney is always nominated and never really wins. The others I'm not sure about. I wish I could see Hotel Rwanda.
LucasHorowitz: its SO good. I wish Don Cheadle could win it but Jamie has that wrapped up tight.
Love Struck Muse: He does... I would have a heart attack if he didn't win. That's why I love when there's some kind of upset. It seems like they're voting on buzz. Although I did think Jamie Foxx was great in Ray and very deserving on being nominated.
LucasHorowitz: right now intertops ( a gambling site) has Jamie Foxx, Hilary Swank, Morgan Freeman, and Cate Blanchett in the lead. Jamie is the only dead on lock.
Love Struck Muse: what about best picture?
LucasHorowitz: Eastwood/Scorsese (edge: Eastwood but razor thin) running neck and neck and they have The Aviator at a slight edge over MDB
