Ok, I keep reading about the pre-existing relationship between Tenzil/Jenne/Beffy. First of all I dare you to find me a game where someone doesnt know someone else.
Secondly, that wasnt the only pre existing relationship going into this game. There was: Kyle/Jamie Lisa/Mitch Big Steve/Taylor and Kelley/Annette/Jamie There is nothing wrong with pre exsisting realtionships. It's gonna happen in the Survivor community. But don't just go blaming Tenzil/Jenne and Beffy for knowing each other before this game. It's not fair when others knew others before the game started.

Tenzil/Beffy/Jenne/Taylor/Lis .... all knew each other ..
BUT
we did not know the others were playing the game until it started - as I'm sure both Karen and Rob can attest to.

Kelley/Annette/Jamie = non existant
It happened after the game.

We saw how
Kyle/Jamie
BigSteve/Taylor
Lisa/Mitch
all worked out.
But Rob is right....the online gaming community is SMALL. My frist game....Hawaii, i knew nobody. My second game....Valentine's Day, I knew Jamie and Lil Steven from Hawaii. My third game....Survivor Online II, I knew SIX people from Hawaii (all but 2 of who were against me) and one from real life who I didn't even know until the game actually started.
So yes, it is inevitable especially the more you play. It can be an edge....it can be a curse. But fact remains we all have to adapt.

Me and Beth also knew Annette (but only vaguely and slightly).

Also, for what it's worth, I've been in enough games where prior ties didn't do a damned thing. It's still a good part of catching the right bounces. After all, Jenne and I were almost the first two boots.
(Still, I wonder what would have happned if so many SCers had played under their own names and the rest of the tribes knew it.)

well, in my case, after about the 2nd or 3rd tc .. and definitely by the 4th ... some people knew who I was.

I might have known right before Jamie's TC who both Beth and Tenzil were since Taylor dropped their names!
I was too concerned with the matters at hand and wasn't thinking about aliases. If I'd have remembered St. Patrick's Day, it might have hit me.
I was already familiar with Beth and Tenzil.
I like to talk big and tough and say that I would've done something about it...but I felt so in with y'all that I probably wouldn't have said a word like I didn't with Taylor and Jenne.

That's right .. I had forgotten about that ... Annette co-hosted a game we had both played in. Hell, I forgot about that too! But for what it's worth, I wasn't very active in my co-host spot for certain reasons - and I didn't find out who they were in this game until it was about 75% done.
